Airlines waive off charges for passengers rescheduling or cancelling flights out of Bangalore’s airport.
The city under turmoil experienced a complete shut down following riots that took place due to the Cauvery issue. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are in conflict over sharing of Cauvery river’s water since 1990.
With regard to the situation at hand, most airlines are not charging passengers fee for cancelling or rescheduling flights from Bangalore Airport. This includes AirAsia India, Jet Airways, Vistara and Air India.
