Charter service provider, Jetsmart will start flights between Delhi and Ludhiana from September 1. An eight-seater Beechcraft 200 King will be deployed on this route, with seven business and one economy class seat.
“The air connectivity from Ludhiana to Delhi was a long-pending demand of industrialists here. The duration of flight would be 75 minutes,” says Angad Dhaliwal, business development head of Jetsmart.
Jetsmart will have two services from Monday to Friday, between the airports. It will take off from Ludhiana at 0900 and 1230; return flights will take off from Delhi at 1045 and 1700.
A one-way economy ticket between Delhi and Ludhiana starts from ₹12,999, and ₹19,999 for business class. An ongoing promotion is offering seats for less than half the price. No end date for the promotion has been announced yet.
