Skyteam confirms Beijing lounge

Skyteam has confirmed its will open a new branded lounge at Beijing’s Capital International airport later this year. The airline alliance had hinted at the prospect of a Skyteam lounge in Beijing earlier this year, and has now confirmed that the facility is under construction, with an opening date of the fourth quarter of 2016. It will be the group’s sixth Skyteam-branded lounge, joining Heathrow, Istanbul, Sydney, Hong Kong and most recently Dubai (pictured below). Skyteam lounge Dubai Meanwhile the alliance has launched a new customer feedback app, allowing members to rate their travel experience. The SkyPriority Audit App had initially been trialled with 8,000 of the group’s most frequent flyers, and has now launched worldwide, with members able to “provide feedback on SkyPriority services at every step of their journey at more than 1,000 airports”. The app is available for Apple and Android devices, in English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese, with a further 11 languages being rolled out during the summer. skyteam.com
