Canopy by Hilton to open in Washington DC

Canopy by Hilton is to open a property in Washington DC in late 2017. Located in the suburb of Bethesda North, the 177-room hotel will include 23 suites and two presidential suites, alongside 404 sqm of meeting space. Local produce and dishes will feature at the hotel’s bistro, with an artisanal breakfast included in the room rate. The hotel will be situated at the heart of new mixed-use development Pike and Rose, which contains office space, luxury apartments, restaurants, shops, a cinema, bowling alley and live performance venues. One block from White Flint station on the Washington underground’s Red Line, the hotel will be within reach of downtown Bethesda, Rockville, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Washington Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National airport are 40km from the hotel, Baltimore-Washington International airport is 58km away. The brand is scheduled to open a property in Reykjavik this summer, with openings in London; Ithaca, New York; and Florida’s West Palm Beach scheduled for early 2018. canopy3.hilton.com Marisa Cannon
