The 352-room hotel will include eight suites and 89 residence suites, offering floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in rain showers and views of the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay. The one, two- and three-bedroom residence suites will also offer kitchen and laundry facilities in addition to the hotel’s existing services.
The hotel will also lay claim to the first outpost of Uruguayan restaurant Parador La Huella, which currently holds 11th place on the list of Latin America’s 50 best restaurants of 2015. Rooftop bar and garden Sugar will offer Asian fusion dishes and tapas on the 40th floor.
A 24-hour gym will feature Technogym equipment alongside a 1,858 sqm pool and deck area offering a range of pool experiences including a hot tub and lap pool. Event space will offer a 306 sqm ballroom, two 148 sqm event spaces and a 79 sqm boardroom.
A 15-minute drive from Miami International Airport, the hotel is located within the Brickell City Centre shopping centre due to open this autumn, which will house an additional 30 restaurants and a range of luxury outlets.
A member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Swire Hotels manages East hotels in Hong Kong and Beijing together with luxury brand The House Collective. The range includes The Opposite House in Beijing, The Upper House in Hong Kong and The Temple House in Chengdu (see news June 2015).
A pre-opening package is on offer through September at specialty rates, which will switch to standard pricing from October 1.
