Premier Inn to open Hamburg and Leipzig properties

Premier Inn has added two more properties to its growing German portfolio, with the signing of hotels in Hamburg and Leipzig. The new properties are scheduled to open in 2018, and will both offer 180 rooms in “prime, connected city-centre locations”. They join the recently-opened Premier Inn Frankfurt Messe (see news March 1), and a 200-room Munich property also set to open in 2018. Parent company Whitbread said it is targeting six to eight Premier Inn hotels to be open and trading in Germany by 2020. In the UK, Premier Inn is set to unveil its latest Greater London property, with the opening of the Premier Inn London Brixton in June.
