Starwood has signed an agreement for a fourth Aloft hotel in Indonesia and third in the country’s capital.
The 180-room Aloft Jakarta Simatupang will be located in South Jakarta, around 45 minutes from the city’s main international airport, and is scheduled to open in 2020.
The hotel will feature free wifi, an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop bar, 700 sqm of meeting space, a gym and splash pool.
It’s the third Aloft property under development in the Indonesian capital, joining Aloft Jakarta Kebon Jeruk (due to open in September 2017), and Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim (scheduled for December 2017).
Starwood is also set to open the Westin Jakarta later this year, and earlier this year announced plans for a new-build hotel and residences under its luxury St Regis brand in the city (see news February 5).
