Skyteam has opened its latest lounge at the newly built Concourse D in Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 1.
The 960 sqm facility is open 24/7 and offers seating for 180 customers.
The lounge features Skyteam’s new design concept, most recently seen in the Hong Kong lounge (see here). Notable design cues include a “living wall” of plants, which aims to bring nature into the airport experience. There is also the Digital Art Gallery, featuring works by different artists.
Complimentary hot and cold dishes representing the cuisines of Skyteam’s member airlines in Dubai are offered throughout the day. With Dubai’s role as a strong transfer hub, connecting passengers will appreciate being able to freshen up in the lounge’s shower suites.
Wifi connectivity is available, and there is also a dedicated business centre offering printing services. Numerous power outlets are located throughout the facility to allow travellers to recharge their electrical devices.
Other facilities include a separate TV room and a children’s room. A wide selection of reading materials is also offered.
The new lounge is open to first and business class passengers travelling on international flights operated by Skyteam member airlines, as well as Skyteam Elite Plus cardholders.
