Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station

4 Nov 2015 by Clement Huang

Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station has become the latest addition to Marriott International’s portfolio, which now consists of over 1,000 Courtyard by Marriott hotels in more than 40 countries worldwide.

The 332-room Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station is located adjacent to the Shin-Osaka Bullet Train Station, making it an attractive choice for travellers arriving in the business and leisure hub of west-Japan. Neighbouring cities Kyoto and Kobe are only a 30-minute train ride away.

Guestroom sizes are fairly generous for a Japanese property, ranging from 30 to 90sqm. The mid-market property is also home to three food and beverage outlets, including the all-day dining restaurant Dining & Bar Lavarock, a Japanese Teppanyaki style establishment Ikka-Ichiyo, and Bar 19 that serves a selection of spirits and cocktails.

Other facilities include a fitness room that is open 24/7, plus three conference rooms sized between 56 and 131sqm. Complimentary wifi is available throughout the property and the hotel also supports a mobile check-in service.

"Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station, together with Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Station, which opened in April last year, position the Courtyard brand at the heart of two major metropolitan areas of Japan,” said Miwako Date, president of Mori Trust Hotels & Resort, the operating company of the hotel.
