Wow Air will launch services to Los Angeles and San Francisco next summer.
The routes, which will be the airline's fifth and sixth US destinations, will be served by an A330-300 aircraft in a single-class configuration with 340 economy seats.
The airline will operate the Reykjavik-LAX route four-times weekly and the Reykjavik-SFO service five-times weekly.
Flight timings are currently unavailable and tickets go on sale in January.
Skuli Mogensen, Wow Air's founder and CEO, said: "With the addition of these long-range A330-300 aircraft to our fleet, we will be able to offer fares from Europe to the West Coast of the United
States far cheaper than our competitors whilst maintaining great service with a smile, as we did with our routes to Boston, Baltimore/Washington DC, Toronto and Montreal."
Wow Air will commence a service to Boston on March 27 and to Washington DC on May 8 (see news, February 19) and to both Toronto and Montreal in May.
