Air France has announced it is offering its newest long-haul cabin products to five additional destinations.
Passengers travelling to Bangalore (India), Osaka (Japan), Boston (US), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Montevideo (Uruguay) can now enjoy the Skyteam member’s latest in-flight products, available on selected flights operated by the B777-200.
New business class
The Boeing aircraft features a three-class configuration, with 40 seats in business, 24 in premium economy and 216 in economy. Having introduced the new seat designs last year, Air France has been busy installing the upgraded products on 44 B777 aircraft. In total, this will consist of close to 10,000 seats in economy, more than 1,100 in premium economy and 2,012 in business.
New economy class
Rollout of the new cabin products has been progressing well, with Air France confirming that it will have completed the retrofit of 30 aircraft by the end of the winter season (March 2016). This will encompass some 28 destinations worldwide including Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo (both Narita and Haneda) in the Asia-Pacific region.
