British Airways to launch London City service to Dordogne

9 Oct 2015 by GrahamSmith
British Airways will launch a London City-Bergerac service next summer. The carrier will operate the four-times weekly seasonal route from May until September. The outbound service will depart LCY on Mondays at 1115, returning at 1350; on Fridays at 0930, returning at 1215; and on Sundays at 1710, returning at 1945. From June 23 until September 1, there will be an additional flight on Thursdays, departing at 1115, returning at 1350. Luke Hayhoe, BA's general manager commercial at LCY, said: "There are a lot of British home owners living in the Dordogne region and Bergerac in particular so we felt it was the right time to give them direct flights from the Docklands. "Our schedule also means they can go for a long weekend and still be back in time for work on Monday." Currently, BA Executive Club members can earn up to 2,000 bonus Avios per flight when travelling between LCY and Geneva (see news, October 2). ba.com Graham Smith
