SAS to fly Copenhagen-Boston from March

8 Oct 2015 by GrahamSmith
SAS is targetting business travellers with the launch of a year-round service between Copenhagen and Boston. From March 29, the Scandinavian airline will roster a narrowbody B737, operated by PrivatAir, between the two cities daily. The aircraft will have 20 seats in business and 66 in Go economy class. Outbound service SK927 will depart Copenhagen at 1250 and arrive at Boston Logan airport at 1520, while return leg SK928 will leave Boston at 1730 and land in Copenhagen at 0700 the next day. SAS Group CEO Rickard Gustafson said: "Boston has long been high on our wish list of nonstop destinations and we are therefore delighted to start selling tickets for this direct daily service from Copenhagen. "It is especially important for our customers who travel for business purposes that we offer flexible travel options, and this is why this route is aimed at these frequent travellers in particular." SAS currently operates services from Scandinavian to New York, Washington DC, Chicago and San Francisco. Later this month, SAS will commence a B737 service between Copenhagen and New York Newark (see news, September 15). Next year, SAS will launch routes between Stockholm and Los Angeles, Oslo and Miami, and Copenhagen and Miami (see news, August 24). flysas.com Graham Smith
