Emirates will operate a double-daily service between Dubai and Phuket.
The Gulf carrier had previously planned to increase the current daily B777-300ER service, operating as EK378/379, to 11-times weekly from December 1.
The route will now fly 14-times weekly from that date, reports airlineroute.net.
The additional flights, EK396/397, will also be operated by a B777-300ER, with eight seats in first, 42 in business and 310 in economy.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, outbound service EK396 will depart Dubai at 2255 and arrive in Phuket at 0800 the next day. Return leg EK397 will leave Phuket on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 0930 and arrive in Dubai at 1320.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, EK396 will depart Dubai at 2055 and arrive in Phuket at 0510 the next day. Return leg EK397 will leave Phuket on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Mondays at 0710 and arrive in Dubai at 1100.
Emirates will operate a 615-seat A380 to Manchester instead of London Gatwick next year (see news, September 16).
