Cebu Pacific to fly between Davao and Singapore

17 Sep 2015 by Clement Huang

Cebu Pacific will launch a non-stop, twice-weekly service between Davao and Singapore from December 17.

As the gateway to Southern Philippines, Davao is a growing commercial hub and popular eco-tourism destination. Davao will be Cebu Pacific’s fifth destination in the Philippines to offer direct flights to Singapore, after Manila, Cebu, Clark and Iloilo.

Flights will be operated by the A320, with the outbound service departing Davao every Thursday and Sunday at 1735 and arriving in Singapore at 2110. Following a very short layover, the return flight will then take off from Singapore at 2155 and touch back down in Davao at 0140 the following day.

“Last year, the Davao region also reported the fastest economic growth in the Philippines,” said the airline’s vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

“With this fast-paced development expected to continue in the coming years, Cebu Pacific’s non-stop flights and trademark low fares between Davao and Singapore will increase accessibility, and facilitate business and tourism growth opportunities.”

To promote the new route in Singapore, Cebu Pacific is offering seats for S$125 (US$89) from September 16 to 18. The travel period is from December 17, 2015 to January 31, 2016.
