7 Jul 2015 by GrahamSmith

Lufthansa has postponed the launch of its year-round direct route between Frankfurt and Panama City.

The German airline had been due to start the five-times weekly service on November 16 (see news, February 10).

It will now commence the route, using an A340-300 featuring its new premium economy product, on March 2, reports airlineroute.net.

The aircraft will have 298 seats in a three-class configuration, with 18 in business, 19 in premium economy and 261 in economy.

The service will run on every day apart from Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Outbound service LH484 will depart Frankfurt at 1015 and arrive in Panama City at 1640 local time, while return service LH485 will leave Panama City at 1845 and land in Frankfurt at 1135 the next day.
