Lufthansa will increase frequency on its forthcoming Frankfurt-Nairobi route to daily next summer.
Last week, the German airline announced it will launch the route on October 27, initially four-times weekly, before increasing it to a five-times weekly service on December 11 (see news, June 12).
On May 16, and subject to government approval, the carrier will start a daily operation between the two cities, reports airlineroute.net.
It will fly an A340-300 on the route throughout.
Outbound service LH590 will depart Frankfurt at 1110 and arrive at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International airport at 2115, with return service LH591 leaving Nairobi at 2320 and landing in Frankfurt at 0555 the next day.
Lufthansa said the flight times are "optimally aligned to flights from Germany, Europe and the North Atlantic".
