British Airways has launched a sale with discounts on first and business class seats to destinations around the world.
The promotion is being billed as a "premium leisure sale". However, many of the destinations are of interest to business travellers.
These include New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, Johannesburg, Dubai, Hyderabad, Hong Kong, Chennai, Kuala Lumpur, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paolo, Barcelona, Salzburg and Amsterdam.
Discounts of up to 55 per cent off long-haul flights in first class are available, as are reductions of up to 25 per cent off long-haul Club World flights, and 23 per cent on short-haul Club Europe seats.
Short-haul flights from Heathrow are not included in the sale, which runs until June 9.
Stephen Humphreys, BA's head of UK and Ireland sales, said: "Lots of people look forward to 'turning left' when they fly, and with the introduction of these special fares, many more people will be able to enjoy a taste of luxury, for less."
Last week, BA announced it will operate 18 weekly flights from London City to Geneva from September, more than trebling its service between the two airports (see news, May 13).
