Complimentary first class upgrade for Club World

18 May 2015 by Clement Huang
Score a complimentary upgrade to first class when travelling with British Airways’ (BA) Club World on flights booked between April 13 and June 26, for travel until September 6. According to the carrier, eligible Club World (business class) customers can opt for a free upgrade on one leg of their journey. The top-tier travel class is available on selected international routes that are served with the carrier’s A380, B747 and B777 aircraft. “By enabling Club customers to get free upgrades we are rewarding their loyalty and custom with a taste of the high life,” said Stephen Humphreys, BA’s head of UK & Ireland sales and marketing. The airline says the first class experience starts with a dedicated check-in area, followed by a concierge service by Quintessentially Lifestyle, which offers 24-hour travel advice. Then it’s off to one of BA’s departure lounges for fine wines and drinks, refreshments, and a range of business facilities. Onboard, customers will be treated to a private suite with a fully flat seat measuring between 14 and 17 inches. It also comes with a personal suitor, mood lighting, a 15-inch entertainment screen and a leather-topped writing desk. The fine dining experience onboard includes choices from BA’s signature a la carte menu, or from a range of lighter options. For more information, visit britishairways.com
