ANA will roll-out new economy class seating from June.
The Japanese carrier has teamed up with Toyota Boshoku to develop the seats, 1,560 of which it plans to install across six B767-300 aircraft by 2016.
The seating will be configured 2-3-2, with each seat having a 17.5-inch width and 31-inch seat pitch.
ANA said the new economy seat has been developed ergonomically for a range of body types, and has been "structured to limit muscle fatigue around the hip and give support for the pelvis".
The seat will debut on ANA's domestic fleet this summer.
Last week, ANA unveiled a B787-9 Dreamliner with Star Wars livery (see news, April 17).
