Marriott International has opened its second JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts property in Mumbai.
The 585-room JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar is located one kilometre from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai.
Its guestrooms include 163 Deluxe Pool View rooms, 23 Deluxe Suites, 23 Executive Balcony rooms, one Presidential Suite.
The hotel has four restaurants and bars — the all-day dining outlet JW Cafe; Italian restaurant Romano's and an attached bar; the JW Lounge that is a cafe by day and a lounge by night; and the JW Baking Company that sells pastries, coffee and other deli items.
Conference facilities include a 929 sqm grand ballroom and 11 meeting rooms, while events can be held in JW Lawns and the Dining Theatre.
There is also Spa by JW — only the second worldwide — two steam and sauna rooms, a fitness centre and Jacuzzis.
Marriott International president and CEO Arne M Sorenson said: "India is a great, growing economy and as that economy grows, its need for hotel rooms grows too. JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar will be a premier luxury business hotel in India, setting a benchmark for service excellence."
