14 Apr 2015 by Clement Huang

Fraser Hospitality has launched its "urban-inspired, design-led" hotel residence brand Capri by Fraser in Australia.

The new Capri by Fraser Brisbane is designed to accommodate the “always connected” lifestyle needs of the modern day traveller, and offers guests a combination of hotel facilities along with the added benefits of serviced residences.

With iPad-activated check-ins, e-Concierge, e-Print facilities, fast and free wifi, in-room cooking or restaurant dining (by celebrity chef Pete Evan), as well as a fitness centre and laundry services, the serviced apartment ensures that all living and social aspects of each guest’s lifestyle is catered for.

Choe Peng Sum, chief executive officer of Frasers Hospitality said: “Millennial travellers today represent 20 per cent of international travellers and are expected to grow rapidly to 320 million by 20201. It is for this special group of travellers that we created our intelligent, tech-forward and intuitive hotel residence brand, Capri by Fraser, to help them keep at the top of their game”.

Capri by Fraser Brisbane features 239 suites ranging from Studio Deluxe, Capri Club Rooms and One Bedroom Executives. Each apartment comes with an intergrated living, kitchenette and bedroom areas. They are also fitted with ergonomically designed desks and Herman Miller work chairs. Other additions include Malin & Goetz bath amenities, iPod docking stations, and Nespresso machines.

As an added benefit, guests staying at any of the clubrooms can gain access to the Capri Club Lounge, which serves complimentary breakfast, all-day tea and coffee, evening canapés and beverages.

The serviced residence is also home to two thoughtfully designed event spaces complete with audiovisual capabilities and complimentary wifi. On level one is The Pod that can cater for up to 150 guests, while the Pow Wow boardroom offers interactive touch-screen panels that integrate whiteboard and projector.

Capri by Fraser Brisbane is offering a special introductory rate of A$199 (US$151) for Monday through Thursday nights, and A$179 (US$136) for Friday to Sunday. The deal is available for stays from April 1 to 30 June, and is inclusive of wifi and parking.

Capri by Fraser Brisbane is the group’s fourth Australian property, following the opening of Fraser Suites Sydney in 2007, followed by Fraser Place Melbourne in 2011 and Fraser Suites Perth in 2013.
