Nikko Hotels International will open a new luxury property in Taizhou this October. The city is located 155 miles northwest of Shanghai in central Jiangsu Province.
Hotel Nikko Taizhou will be situated in Taizhou Data Industrial Park – a new 716,000sqm complex in China’s first national medical high-tech zone called China Medical City (CMC). The property will be accessible via a 45-minute drive from Tangzhou Taizhou Airport or a three and a half hour drive from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
CMC itself spans 30sqkm and is expected to be the country’s largest biomedical cluster. It will consist of several major functions/areas, including research and development, medical services, manufacturing and a convention and exhibition centre.
The hotel will offer 200 guestrooms across 19 floors. Facilities will include seven banquet and meeting rooms, multiple dining facilities, a business centre, a fitness club and an indoor pool.
