Air Astana has launched a three-times weekly Almaty-Astana-Paris Charles de Gaulle service.
The Kazakhstan carrier is rostering a B757 in a two-class configuration, with 16 seats in business and 150 in economy, on the route.
The service, which features Air Astana's new Economy Sleeper product (see news, February 2), operates on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Outbound service KC623 departs Almaty at 1100 and arrives in Astana at 1235. The flight code then changes to KC223 (the aircraft remains the same), which leaves Astana at 1400 and lands in Paris at 1705.
Return service KC224 departs Paris at 1955 and arrives in Astana at 0605 the next day. Flight KC624 then leaves Astana at 0725 and arrives in Almaty at 0855.
Air Astana president Peter Foster said: "The new service to Paris is a major step in developing Air Astana's European network and serves to strengthen economic, diplomatic, cultural and tourism links between France and Kazakhstan."
