Leonardo Hotels will open its first UK hotel at London Heathrow next week.
The 230-room Leonardo Hotel London Heathrow Airport is located in the former Holiday Inn on Bath Road.
It is scheduled to open its doors on March 16 and "will benefit from a substantial refurbishment".
Leonardo Hotels is the European division of Israel's Fattal Hotels. The Leonardo brand has properties in Israel and in European cities including Antwerp, Berlin, Bruges, Budapest, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich.
It said it has "significant" growth plans in the UK.
Daniel Roger, managing director of Leonardo Hotels Europe, said: "London Heathrow is a global hub where we can offer our guests an attractive hotel stay, build our UK business and continue to pursue our rigorous commitment to offer additional European destinations."
Leonardo Hotels has agreed a new 25-year lease with The Standard Life Investments Pooled Pension Property Fund to open the Heathrow property.
