Hilton Worldwide will open its first Doubletree property in Egypt in 2017.
The 197-room new-build will be located in Ain Al Sokhna and will be part of a mixed-use development.
Facilities will include all-day dining and five further food and drinks outlets, a fitness centre and swimming pools.
The Doubletree by Hilton Ain Al Sokhna will also feature a multi-functional 200 sqm meeting room, boardroom and business centre.
Rudi Jagersbacher, Hilton Worldwide president, Middle East and Africa, said: "Our Hilton Worldwide portfolio stretches across the country, and we are delighted to be announcing our first Doubletree by Hilton in Ain Al Sokhna, which benefits from its close proximity to the major infrastructure investments in Suez as well as for its appeal as a leisure destination."
Hilton has signed a management agreement for the hotel with the Asala For Investment and Touristic Development Company.
Hilton Worldwide currently has 18 hotels in Egypt, with a further five under development, including Hilton Alexandria Kings Ranch, which is due to open in May 2015.
In November, Hilton Worldwide's global director told Business Traveller that Doubletree by Hilton has signed agreements for 150 more properties worldwide, most of which will open in the next three years (see news, November 12).
