Premier Inn has announced that wifi access in its UK hotels is now free for all guests.
The budget hotel group previously provided 30 minutes of unlimited internet access.
A statement said: "Effective immediately, all Premier Inn hotels across the UK will provide complimentary wifi to every guest.
"The offer will be made available across a number of devices in guests' rooms and within the hotel's social areas."
Premier Inn also offers "Ultimate Wifi", at a cost of £5 for 24 hours, for guests who want to stream films, watch catch-up television or download larger files.
It is eight-times faster than the free wifi and up to three devices can be connected for this cost, the hotel said.
In December, Premier Inn announced plans for expansion in south-east Asia, with properties set to open in Singapore and Indonesia (see news, December 3).
