Flybe will operate a weekly service between Cardiff and Dusseldorf this summer.
The regional airline will roster an 88-seat Embraer 175 aircraft on the route, which will run on Saturdays between April 25 and October 3.
The outbound flight will depart Dusseldorf at 1415 and arrive in Cardiff at 1500 local time, while the return service will leave Cardiff at 1525 and land back in Dusseldorf at 1810 local time.
Flybe CCO Paul Simmons said: "We look forward to this new Saturday service being well used for travel between Wales and Dusseldorf. It will provide direct and convenient access to this key destination on the Rhine River."
Earlier this week, it was announced that Flybe has suspended its London City to Inverness service due to "lower than anticipated passenger numbers" (see news, January 6).
