Qatar Airways will add Amsterdam to its network from June 16 this year, making the Dutch capital the airline's 34th destination in Europe. The daily service will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Chief executive of the Qatari flag carrier Akbar Al Baker said: “Amsterdam has long been on our list of destinations to introduce to our network, and we are delighted to now be adding this dynamic European city to our route map."
The aircraft offers 254 seats in a two-class configuration, with 22 fully-flat-bed seats in Business Class (for a review of the product, click here) and 232 in Economy Class. The non-stop Doha-Amsterdam journey will take six hours and 35 minutes.
