EVA Air will begin operations between Taiwan's Kaohsiung International Airport and Kansai International Airport in Osaka from February 5 next year.
The two cities will be linked by an A321-200 with 184 seats in two classes – an eight-seat business class configured 2-2; and 176 economy seats in a 3-3 setup.

The carrier launched daily services to Tokyo and Seoul last year, Kaohsiung-Shenyang this year, and increased frequencies to Seoul, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Ningbo and Macau. To increase capacity, it has also started replacing the 152-seat MD-90s with 184-seat A321-200s.
