Russian airline Aeroflot is cancelling its Moscow to Toronto route later this month.

The carrier will from October 26 no longer operate the service, reports airlineroute.net.

During the upcoming winter season, flight SU114 had been scheduled to depart Moscow Sheremetyevo airport at 1030 and arrive at Toronto Pearson at 1250 on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Return service SU115 was due to have taken off from Toronto at 1425 and land back in Moscow the next days at 0735 local time.

In August, Aeroflot subsidiary Dobrolet was forced to suspend its flights as a result of European Union sanctions imposed on it (see news, August 4).
