China Airlines and Spring Airlines upgrade flights to Japan

Both China Airlines and Spring Airlines have announced that they will upgrade their services to Japan from October 26 onwards.

The former will be turning its seasonal Taipei Taoyuan–Ishigaki service into a year-round operation. The existing Boeing 737-800 aircraft will continue to operate the route twice a week.

CI124 departs Taipei at 0700 and arrives in Ishigaki at 0950. The return service sees flight CI125 leave Ishigaki at 1005 and land back in Taipei at 1020.

Meanwhile, Spring Airlines will increase its Shanghai Pudong–Ibaraki service from six-times weekly to eight-times weekly. The new services will operate every Friday and Sunday.

Friday’s service has flight 9C8987 departing Shanghai at 0840 before arriving in Ibaraki at 1220. The return flight 9C8988 leaves Ibaraki at 1320 and arrives back in Shanghai at 1540.

The Sunday service sees flight 9C8795 leaves the Chinese city at 1450, to land back in Ibaraki at 1930. Return service features flight PC8796 departing Ibaraki at 1930 and touching back down at 2220.
