American Airlines is adding a second daily flight from London Heathrow to Charlotte.
The additional service will be operated by US Airways with a A330-200 with fully-flat seats in business.
Flight US733 departs LHR at 1445 and lands at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) at 1820 local times. Return flight US732 takes-off from CLT at 2230 and arrives in London at 1125 the following day.
The new service is in addition to existing flight US731, which departs LHR at 1005 and arrives in Charlotte at 1440, and flight US730, which leaves CLT at 1855 and lands in London at 0750 the next day.
An enlarged American Airlines came into being in December after the completion of its merger with US Airways (see news, December 9).
AA is adding its new livery to its entire fleet of aircraft over the next few years.
