1 Jul 2014 by GrahamSmith

Ethiopian Airlines has again postponed the launch of its B787 Dreamliner Addis Ababa—Hong Kong—Seoul Incheon service.

The four-times weekly route had been scheduled to commence today, but is now due to start flying on August 1.

Outbound service ET608 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It will depart Addis Ababa at 2315, arriving in Hong Kong at 1415 the next day, before taking off again at 1515 and landing in Seoul at 2000 local time.

Return service ET609 will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It will take-off from Seoul at 2100 and land in Hong Kong at 2342, before taking to the skies again at 0035 the next day. It will then land in Addis Ababa at 0635.

Ethiopian's planned direct Addis Ababa to Hong Kong Dreamliner service has also been delayed, from August 1 until September 1, reports airlineroute.net. It will then run three times weekly.

Earlier this year, the airline announced it will a daily B787 service between Addis Ababa and London Heathrow from July 8 (see news, February 25).
