Silk Air flies to Kalibo

27 May 2014 by Clement Huang

Silk Air has launched its inaugural flight to Kalibo, the Philippines, the gateway to the famous holiday destination of Boracay – a small island well known for its sandy beaches, natural cold springs and waterfalls.

The city is the airline’s third destination in the Philippines after Cebu and Davao, and the 46th destination across Silk Air’s route network.

Flights to Kalibo will be served thrice weekly, depart Singapore on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Silk Air will operate the route with the Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, which offers both business and economy cabins.

While most of the flights to Kalibo will be direct, Silk Air will operate a single flight to the Philippine city every Thursday that features a layover in Cebu. Meanwhile, two of the three weekly return legs to Singapore will also stop over in Cebu.
