Delta Air Lines has unveiled the Business Elite cabin on its first newly-refurbished B757-200.
The aircraft features fully-flat seating throughout business.
From July 1, Delta will start operating three of the updated Boeing aircraft on its New York JFK to LAX route.
And all Delta flights between New York and Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle will feature fully-flat seats by summer 2015.
The move continues the trend of US carriers upgrading the cabins on transcontinental flights.
Earlier this month, American Airlines unveiled details of its new seating, including fully-flat business seats, on its B777-200ER fleet (see news, April 9).
