Air France flies second daily service to Stavanger

Air France has launched a second daily service from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Stavanger.

The carrier is operating the flights with a 76-seater Embraer 170 aircraft.

Flight AF1846 departs Paris CDG at 1000 and arrives in Stavanger at 1205 local time, while sister service AF1746 takes off from Paris at 1920 and lands in Stavanger at 2125.

Return flight AF1747 departs Stavanger at 0700 and lands in Paris at 0910 local time, and flight AF1847 leaves Stavanger at 1245 and arrives in Paris at 1455.

Air France also operates three daily services to Oslo, while KLM flies five times daily to Stavanger from Amsterdam Schiphol airport.

In total, during the summer 2014 season Air France-KLM are operating 31 daily frequencies to Norway from Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol to seven destinations — Alesund, Bergen, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Sandefjord, Trondheim and Oslo.

AF yesterday confirmed that it will operate an A380 service to Abidjan this winter (see news, April 8).
