1 Apr 2014 by GrahamSmith

Air France has this week launched a thrice-weekly service to Brasilia, its third destination in Brazil.

The route, which started yesterday, joins the French carrier's services to Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paolo.

It operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is served by a B777-200 in a three-class configuration seating 309 passengers — 35 in business, 24 in premium economy and 250 in economy. To view a seatplan, click here.

Outbound service AF 0520 leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 1330 and arrives in Brasilia at 1915.

Return leg AF 0515 departs Brasilia at 2240 and lands at Paris CDG at 1420 the following day.

In February, it emerged that Air France had made a $100 million investment in Brazilian carrier GOL (see news, February 19).
