Hilton Worldwide has opened its first Doubletree-branded hotel in Saudi Arabia.
The 153-room Doubletree by Hilton Dhahran is located in the commercial district of Al Khobar in the Kingdom's Eastern Province.
The property features a ballroom, four flexible meeting rooms, a complimentary 24-hour business centre and a fitness centre.
From later this year, an indoor swimming pool and spa area, including steam room and sauna, will also be available.
Of its 153 guestrooms, 99 are king, queen or twin rooms while the remaining 54 are one or two-bedroom suites.
John Greenleaf, global head of Doubletree by Hilton, said: "The introduction of DoubleTree by Hilton to Saudi Arabia demonstrates the brand's global recognition and positive growth."
Rudi Jagersbacher, president of Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa, added: "With 21 properties in our KSA pipeline, we now have the largest development programme in the region."
Doubletree opened its third hotel in Barcelona last month (see news, December 17).
