Hainan Airlines has started providing a free electric vehicle service at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
Both first and business class passengers can make use of the service, which departs from Hainan Airlines' first class check-in counter. The vehicle will transport passengers to the immigration and security check, and then on to the restricted area and the airline's lounge.
The vehicle, which has a maximum capacity of six, will always be on standby at the counters. If it is driving passengers around, staff will call and it will arrive back within in five minutes. The service is available between 0630 and 2130, as there are no flights after 2300.
