The extended stay brand from Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened its first property in Lebanon.
Staybridge Suites Beirut is located on Verdun Street, downtown Beirut, within walking distance of the seafront.
The 121-suite hotel offers apartment-style accommodation in studio, one or two bedroom brackets.
All apartments come with fully equipped kitchenettes, work-spaces and 32-inch LED TVs. This property also boasts a roof-top swimming pool; a 24-hour shop; complimentary wifi; a laundry room; secure underground parking and a gym.
Guests can take advantage of complimentary breakfast in the Hub Kitchen and snacks and drinks are laid out in the evenings.
Pascal Gauvin, COO Middle East, India and Africa IHG said: “IHG has a long and rich heritage in Lebanon, dating back to 1961 when we opened our first hotel here. Staybridge Suites Beirut joins our broad portfolio of hotels in Beirut, which now includes three Intercontinental hotels, a Crowne Plaza hotel and a Holiday Inn hotel.”
IHG hopes to continue expanding the Staybridge brand across the Middle East, with six more hotels due to open over the coming years, with three in the UAE, one in Saudi Arabia, one in Bahrain and one in Kuwait.
