Warwick International Hotels has added another property to its portfolio with the acquisition of a hotel in the centre of Dubai.
The 357-room hotel, located on the city's Sheikh Zayed Road, is scheduled to start operations as Warwick Hotel Dubai by the end of the year.
The upmarket property has a spa & health floor, a deli, a 360-degree Dubai view restaurant on the 44th floor, an all-day dining restaurant, a pool bar, a juice bar, "extensive" meeting facilities, a tennis court and a rooftop swimming pool.
Jamal Serhan, CEO for WIH in the Middle East North Africa, said: "This new management agreement in the heart of Dubai shows the capacity and the willingness of WIH to respond to hotel investors and owners looking for a privately owned and internationally recognised hotel brand to operate their hotels and resorts."
Since 2011, WIH has established itself in the Middle East with the Warwick Il Palazzo Hotel & Suites in Amman-Jordan, the Winter Valley Warwick Resort & Spa Dead Sea-Jordan, the Warwick Pangéa Beach Resort & Spa-Lebanon and the Warwick Palm Beach Beirut-Lebanon.
The company plans to continue expanding its locations in the region. WIH now has a portfolio of 54 hotels on four continents.
