Germania is to launch a new service between London Gatwick and Erfurt in central Germany.
The twice-weekly route will start on November 29 in time for the 2013/14 winter season.
Berlin-based carrier Germania will operate the flights on Mondays and Fridays using an Airbus A319 aircraft that can seat 148 passengers.
Andreas Wobig, CEO of Germania, said: "We are delighted that we can now offer passengers from the south of the United Kingdom a non-stop connection to Erfurt/Weimar."
Last month, Germania announced it is introducing twice-weekly flights between Gatwick and Kosovo's capital Pristina from June 29 (see online news, May 1).
