Aegean Airlines is to launch a new UK service with flights from Manchester to Athens.
The Greek carrier's new weekly route begins on Saturday (May 25) with the return flight on Monday.
The service departs from Manchester on Mondays and Saturdays at 2105, landing in Athens at 0250, with the return flights departing Athens on Mondays and Saturdays at 1815, landing in Manchester at 2020.
Aegean will use a two-class Airbus A320 on the route with capacity for 168 passengers.
The airline already operates a Heathrow-Athens service three times per day.
Aegean had planned to operate flights from Gatwick to Larnaca in Cyprus for summer 2013 but this route was cancelled last month.
