Germania is to launch a new service between London’s Gatwick airport and Kosovo’s capital Pristina from the end of next month.
The Berlin-based carrier will offer twice-weekly flights between the two cities from June 29, with flight ST6478 departing Gatwick on Wednesday and Saturday at 1925, arriving into Pristina at 2340.
The return leg ST6479 will leave Pristina on Thursday and Sunday at 0025, landing back into London at 0250.
It is understood the new route has been made possible due to an agreement between Germania and Sunvil Holidays, whereby the German carrier has based an aircraft at Gatwick airport to operate charter flights to Greek islands on behalf of Sunvil this summer.
British Airways has previously offered a service between Gatwick and Pristina, but this service was suspended late last year.
