23 May 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Hilton Worldwide has opened its first two hotels in the Turkish city of Bursa  - the 187-room Hilton Bursa Convention Centre and Spa, and the 107-room Hampton by Hilton Bursa.

The two properties are located next to each other within the same development around two miles from the city centre.

The Hilton Bursa Convention Centre and Spa features interior design including Anatolian Iznik tiling, and room décor “combining the influences of the rich historical heritage of Bursa with classic styling of cream and turquoise colour tones”.

Food and beverage facilities include the all day-dining Brasserie Restaurant, an atrium lounge, Patisserie Vivienne, and the 18th floor Skylight Restaurant with views of the city.

There is a spa and wellness centre with indoor swimming pool, steam room, spa bath and Turkish bath, and for meetings and events there are 13 rooms including a Grand Ballroom holding up to 1,200 delegates, plus outdoor space for a further 800 people.

The hotel also features the 19th floor Speedcity Entertainment Centre, which Hilton describes as offering “action simulators - perfect for families or those looking for team building activities”.

The Hampton by Hilton Bursa features the Dining Zone for complimentary hot breakfast, free wifi for all guests, fitness and business centres, and a meeting room holding up to 20-people theatre style.

Bursa is the fourth largest city in Turkey, located around 150 miles from Istanbul in northwestern Turkey.
