Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the doors to its second Radisson Blu property in Chennai.
The 162-room Radisson Blu Chennai City Centre is located in downtown Chennai City and is close to the main attractions, such as Express Avenue, Spencer Plaza and Raheja Towers.
In addition to complimentary internet for all guests, the hotel features four food and beverage outlets, including a bar with a cigar lounge, plus a gym, spa, outdoor swimming pool, business centre and a total of 901sqm of meeting space.
This hotel is part of the hotel group’s Ambition 2015 masterplan (see previous story here) that aims to expand its portfolio within the robust Asia-Pacific region from 55 hotels in 2009 up to more than 150 by 2015.
Simon Barlow, Asia-Pacific president for the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, said: “The opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Chennai City Centre, together with another 13 scheduled openings in India will bring our India portfolio to 64 operating hotels by year end.
