Singapore’s low-cost carrier has announced the introduction of services between Singapore and Kochi, the capital of Kerala in southwest India, commencing April 27.
“With the addition of Kochi to our portfolio of destinations, Tiger Airways will now serve five destinations in India, providing travellers from Singapore and the region with even more great value travel options,” said Stewart Adams, managing director.
He added: “India is an important market for Tiger Airways, and this further increase to the number of routes flown to this region demonstrates Tiger’s commitment to extending its paw print and growing its presence. Singapore is India’s largest trade and investment partner in ASEAN, and the launch of our Kochi route will further increase accessibility for leisure and business travellers whilst encouraging bilateral connectivity within ASEAN.”
