Iberia braced for more strikes

23 Jan 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Spanish flag carrier Iberia is set to be affected by more strike action by its pilots over the next two weeks.

A link on the airline's homepage says that "The strike called by the Sepla pilots union in Iberia on January 25, 27 and 30 will cause the cancellation of a large number of flights".

Flights between London and Madrid are among those affected  - for a full list of cancelled services click here.

The Sepla has already staged strike action during December and January, over plans to create new low-cost subsidiary Iberia Express.
