Rezidor Hotel Group’s tie-up with fashion house Missoni is to welcome its first property in Mauritius in 2014, with 80 suites all featuring covered outdoor living areas.
Hotel Missoni Mauritius will overlook the village of Baie du Cap, with facilities including the brand’s signature Cucina restaurant concept, a second all-day dining eatery, a lounge bar, Choco café, outdoor pools, a fitness centre, tennis court, 900sqm spa, 235sqm of meeting space and direct access to 650 metres of beachfront.
Aside from featuring Missoni patterns and fabrics, each suite will have its own “Varangue” or covered outdoor living space.
Hotel Missoni currently has two existing hotels in Edinburgh and Kuwait, with projects also under development in Brazil, Oman and Turkey.
